Desolate

I took these in a park in West Texas - just outside of Seminole. It really did feel this desolate. I hope I never have to move to west Texas - I think it would depress me. Being there did, however allow me to capture the emotion I was feeling at the time.

Vegas 2008

A couple of months ago I made a quick trip to Vegas. I found time to walk the strip one evening and snapped these. I think they turned out pretty good.

Here are a few "action" shots from the Community Food Drive this past week. I really like some of these - great kids.

So here are a few pre-wedding shots I took for Larry and Megan. The weather was not very cooperative that day - but the photos turned out okay.





This last one was actually taken in Houston a week before the wedding. I had been up since 3am to drive the 4 hours to the airport - and wasn't happy with most of the shots - this was

one of the better ones.

the beginning...

So here it is - the beginning of my photography blog. For some reason this beginning makes me a little nervous. It's not that I am unfamiliar with blogging - I do it all the time - but I think this is just one more way for me to push myself. To be brave and commit and lay myself out for everyone to see. Or at least for everyone to see things the way I do. Which is also a little scary. Don't ask me why. This first post won't even have a picture attached to it. I feel the need for it to simply create the beginning. Anyway, thank you for stepping out with me on my little experiment with myself. I hope it will take us someplace really good...
